From the rainforests of Central America up through Mexico, Guanacaste is a fast growing tropical hardwood admired for its stunning grain patterns with rich tones of brown and black, reminiscent of the beautiful, but nearly extinct, Brazilian Rosewood. 

All slab wood has been kiln dried. Any checks, cracks or defects have been resin stabilized so that each slab can be surface planed and flat sanded to 150 grit.  The material has been acclimating to ambient conditions for at least 2 years.
